Our Refer-and-Earn Programme allows you to earn credits by referring friends and family to sign up for our super fast fibre internet services. When your referral successfully signs up and makes their first invoice payment, you’ll earn a credit reward.

The Refer-and-Earn Programme is open to direct customers subscribed to month-to-month services.

  • 1. The Refer-and-Earn Programme is exclusively for direct customers of MetroFibre. Direct customers are individuals who have subscribed to MetroFibre’s super fast fibre internet services directly from MetroFibre, without going through an Internet Service Provider (ISP) selling on our network.
  • 2. Unfortunately, customers using our time-based pay-as-you-go service (MetroConnect) are not eligible to participate in the Refer-and-Earn Programme.
  • 3. Unfortunately, customers using MetroFibre Go on another Fibre Network Operator (FNO) such as Openserve or Vuma, are not eligible to participate in the Refer-and-Earn Programme.

No, customers subscribed through an Approved ISP selling on our network are not eligible to participate in the Refer-and-Earn Programme. The Programme is exclusively for direct customers of MetroFibre who have subscribed to a month-to-month service.

Signing up is easy! Simply log in to the MyMetroFibre customer portal and click on the Refer-and-Earn link, or download and install the MetroFibre app, head over to the Deals section, and click on Refer-and-Earn. This will take you to our dedicated registration page. Follow the instructions to register for the Programme. Once registered, you’ll receive a unique referral code to start sharing with your network.

After signing up, you’ll receive a unique referral code. Share this code with friends and family who are interested in our super fast fibre internet services. When they sign up using your referral code and make their first invoice payment, you’ll earn a credit reward

Each successful referral is worth a credit of R400, which will be applied to your account. Please refer to the terms and conditions of the Programme for specific details on credit rewards and eligibility criteria.

Yes! You can refer as many friends and family members as you’d like! The more referrals you make, the more credit rewards you can earn

Yes, your referrals also receive benefits! When they sign up using your referral code and make their first invoice payment, they’ll receive a credit reward on their second month’s subscription.

There are no restrictions on the number of referrals you can make. Feel free to refer as many friends and family members as you’d like! However, please note that the person you refer must be eligible to sign up as a direct customer on MetroFibre’s network.

Credit rewards are typically applied to your account the month after your referral successfully signs up and makes their first invoice payment.

If your referral cancels their subscription before the end of their first full month billing cycle, you will not be eligible to receive credit rewards. However, if they remain subscribed and make payment on their second invoice, you will receive the credit reward as scheduled. It’s important to note that MetroFibre direct clients can cancel at any time without cancellation penalties.

The month-to-month service is a subscription-based model where customers are billed at the beginning of each month for that month’s service. The pay-as-you-go (MetroConnect) service, on the other hand, allows customers to top up their account with time-based internet access. Both services are prepaid.
